This website really doesnt seem to be working... Maybe we're in the wrong place for ubuntu...? Ignorance can be sooo bliss.

Hi AnonymousMusician21. I'm the developer of this website, and I'd appreciate any specific feedback regarding specifically what you find isn't working, and any constructive suggestions for improvement.

What i have learned is that people that discover and talk with other people about Ubuntu often find them self lost in the "matrix world" its nice to see this worldwide platform, if only it was to feel your NOT alone, let the love guide you

I think it's really a matter of penetration, the people who should be using this website aren't on here, and the people who are on here aren't using it properly. My interpretation of this websites ethos was to facilitate unification amongst "awakened individuals" around the world.. We call ourselves "the 99%", but right now we're really more like the 1% percent, whilst the rest of the world's trapped in ignorance... In my mind if you really want to make this site flourish you need to reach out to your supporters who have large audiences, and force them to create awareness of the site... Simultaneosly we need to encourage this site to bridge the gap between "online participation" and "physical action"... Seems like you had this in mind when you designed the interface. But it's not enough... People need a big push to translate their online activity into actually physical actions... Hope that helps.

Thank you... You are spot on, you have identified the two biggest challenges. Recruitment and Action. So to get ALL the "awakened individuals" to come together on this one platform we need all the "people of influence" to get behind the idea and call out to all their own supporters to sign up. Michael Tellinger and Max Igan (The Full Circle Project) are two of those people who we already have on board, and we are working on getting support from others...but these "people of influence" or not easy to get hold of and then they need convincing to come on board. The second problem you identified is translating online activity into real world action... Connecting people at a local level is a good start, but I'd welcome any other ideas as to how we can use this web platform to better encourage people to get offline and take action in the real world.

Get in touch with Babaluku, in Uganda. He's a hip-hop activist who been working on his own "Obumu" projects there. Not as well known as Michael, but very popular over there. He's pretty active on facebook, so that would be an easy way to get in touch... As for the second question, that might be the marketing (somebody's definately going to hate on me for using that word) of the decade/s but i'll let you know if I figure it out... A.

I think its going to be easier to let Babaluku from Uganda to get in touch with Michael Tellinger. Uganda is quite far from RSA. Even better get him to create a circle on ubuntuplanet for his area. There is a challenge.
